Random Thoughts and Events

Love the hat, thanks Aunt Suzie!

So I haven't been the best at this....but I will try to be better in the new year! :) Honestly I tried to add pictures a few times and then for some reason it didn't accept them or I did to many at once....so I was just irritated that I spent the time all for nothing...twice! Plus we had over 1000 pictures on our card so it would take me forever to find the one's I wanted. But Yeah for Brian because he downloaded all of them and we said we would never let that happen again. We will see if that works out or not.

We hope that you all have a wonderful holiday season and a blessed New Year! We are sending out cards that may be post marked by Christmas Eve :) But at least they are on the way.....

I spent the month of November visiting my family and it was wonderful. Mom and I did finally break Bryce of the screaming in the car seat....I guess there is something to be said for going out to lunch everyday. The car ride home with Brian was cake compared to the drive there. All his cousins had a great time with baby Bryce, it was much louder than he was use to and it took some time for Bryce not to jump when all the kids were together. They all took turns holding him, playing with all the baby toys, and singing lots of songs.

We are leaving for Pittsburgh for the Christmas holiday and pray for a smooth first flight.

Bryce is 4 months old, a drooling machine, all his fingers must taste great, and overall a pretty happy little boy unless it is time to eat NOW and or missed more than one nap at home. I love playing with him and watching his eyes light up at everything. He talks a lot too. UMMMM gets so excited in the bath that when he kicks both of his legs down his little butt goes over the seat and he is laying flat on his back in his bathtub with huge blue eyes like what just happened, but let me do it again and again.

Flying Baby is always fun!

A month of Fun!

So I really had good intentions of keeping this up to date. Well it has been more than a month and I finally have some time. Our house is coming together and we are at least at a place where I feel like I can finally leave things be for awhile. I am currently visiting family and yes an 11wk old that doesn't like his car seat really can scream almost the entire way home (7hrs)....no matter what tricks grandma pulled out of her hat! So here are a few pictures of what we have been up to.

Scarecrows and the little pumpkin off to a Halloween Party

Dude what is that stuff under your hat!

Oh so that is what hair looks and feels like...Kellen doesn't have any yet!

Fall Days

Love that Smile!

So really with parents like us....Bryce is going to have to learn to love the gym or exercise of some sort....so we thought we should start him early So maybe we stayed a little too long :)

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Well I tried to get cute pictures of Bryce at the Pumpkin patch, but he wasn't excited about the idea at all. So I may have to try again on another day. Although Desiree and I still had fun taken pictures of the kids.

Monday Night Football

So after our Steeler photos on Sunday, they happened to be playing on Monday night. So Bryce got to stay up past his bed time with Daddy and cheer on the Steelers. Here are some funny pictures.

Touch Down!

It makes me really MAD when they play bad!

A visit from Aunt Kelly & Aunt Monica

Kelly and Monica came down to meet Bryce and 2 days after our HHG arrived. Little did they know how much work they would be doing. We so appreciated all the help with sorting, folding clothes and most of all getting Bryce's room put together. If we ever get a mattress for his crib maybe we can start using it. :)

Love Moving

Okay not really...but kind of....Love new places....hate leaving friends.....love new homes....hate unpacking... and I could go on as we all could. Our HHG arrived and all was in one piece and no major problems. But boy did we miss the hard working Japanese. Not that our movers didn't work hard unloading 8 crates, but you would have thought I was smoking crack when I asked them to start unpacking some of the boxes and it was 5:00pm. They did for awhile and then sent me two very nice ladies to finish the next day. All furniture has a home, now we just need to find a place for all of the stuff. We have a path way to the computer so I thought I should try and catch up on the blog. The house is pretty put together except the office and Guest bedroom. We need to start hanging things, but it is feeling much more like home...finally. Lets just say that setting up the house seems to take a little longer with a 7 week old.

First Few Weeks

Bryce Robert Lee Joseph born 16 August 2008.

With Grandma at 2 weeks. Three generations.
Still awaiting our household shipment. Great-Grandma, Great-Aunt, and Grandma couldn't wait to visit!
Daddy and Bryce
Sweet Baby Boy - 3 weeks Stages of anger...turning red, then purple, snorting, and holding his breath.
Papa and Grandma Peggy - 4 weeks.
Mommy and Bryce (Mommy didn't allow picture before this time)
Pink Flag Weekend - 5 weeks old. Much easier with three extra mommies (even though Daddy was gone). Willing girlfriends to wake and feed my child so I can get more sleep. And lots more mommy opinions and advice to go around!
