Adventures on the flight line

So Brian was able to get a Bryce a ride in the chase vehicle for the U2.  The pilot can't see the runway so they follow the chase car.....They propped him up in the front seat buckled him in and chased the plane down the run way....what kid (old or young) wouldn't like that as the car peals out down the run way.

 

The crazy thing is like a glider, it just falls over on its wings...they put wheels on the wings to taxi back

Bryce's 2nd preschool for this year Mission Baptist Academy...he had a great teacher and wonderful friends...

This is Joseph, they were good buddies...we went to pilot training with his parents and no kids and now they have 4 and we have 2. Was so great to touch base with them again

So I might be a little behind but hey I am catching up....I had to fix the last 3 posts since none of the great pictures would show up....

Which brings us to February in Korea and I will start with Brennen and some 6 mth pictures. Your sleeping at night isn't so great so lets work on that okay...bc you can't sleep in bc we have to take Bryce to school. You work really hard at picking up puffs, enjoy whatever food I have given you, LOVE your brother, go to sleep on your own...did I mention that you are waking up too much at night....you love to play with your toys and knock down towers built by your brother and everything goes in your mouth....love the pool or bath, you just love water...which is good since we are heading back to Japan :)

Last Seoul Adventure.....Probably

 

Okay we are trying to explore

Sunset on the way up to Seoul tower the day after Christmas....it was late and cold we didn't see anyone else unlike in Nov and there were lots of people and buses....I guess it wasn't as cold and it was a weekend

 

This is how we rolled this time...double Bob and bright yellow weather shield....we were noticed...especially when we carried this thing up and down the subway stairs....lesson learnerd not all have elevators

Tummy Time with Big Brother

Brennen 5 mths

Well little man you are 5mths old and full of smiles I will try and update your last month.
*You are very mellow compared to your brother....ie Bryce is hungry he needs to eat...even now...you can wait
*For almost two wks a little after 4 mths you slept 12 straight hrs at night, not so much now, here is to hoping that changes soon
*You are a rolling machine, when you want to be or if you see a toy that you would like
*You have discovered rolling over while sleeping and that seems to make you really mad, but it is getting better
* Christmas break has killed your sleeping schedule...you prefer to go to bed late and 12 hrs later get up...still getting up a time or two to eat....so 10:30 or 11:00 and that is when you were getting up in the morning...so we are working on adjusting that
* You love books
*You really love your brother
*Everything goes into your mouth and you are a drooling machine
*You enjoy sleeping with Ellie the Elephant and your soft Dalmatian dog blanket
*You pretty much like it all, tummy time, jumper, exersaucer, swing
* I think you try to eat too much so we are going to work on that, if I pump out 6-8oz you seem to think you need to tap off on me...then throw up everywhere...it is awesome :)
* Oh and you can talk up a storm and REALLY loud...especially if Brother is sleeping..maybe you feel like you can't get in a word when he is awake :)

day trip to Seoul via subway

While Monica was visiting we hit Seoul for a 2nd time, this time via subway just for the day, and hit the markets. Soon after we left the subway station a Korean family took pity on us as we were trying to read a map...little did we know they would spend the day with us, translate for us, and show us where to shop. We did learn that we might have needed a double stroller for the all day adventure...Bryce still naps most days and he was ready for a nap after we had hit the market...so Brian had to carry Brennen car seat and all for several blocks...lets just say he got a good work out we don't exactly have light weight children....note to self we need to borrow a double for all day outings :)

Bryce was spent and so were we by the time we made it back to the subway to leave...this is some man on the subway that just held him real tight bc he was a little wild and not listening...Brian and I told him him to sit in the stroller bc we were standing he wouldn't and he kept running into someone with crutches...so this man gave him a seat :)
